Encouraging Partnership, Listening to Children,
Giving Families a Voice
We will value your gift of time and give you the support and training you require. FREE training and Continual Professional Development is offered to all our volunteers. All out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
Become a Volunteer: SNAP Cymru is a registered charity with local projects delivering local services across Wales.
Project Support: Offering practical support to staff eg: administration, distributing information, fundraising.

Participation and Consultation: Supporting a wide range of professionals and agencies in developing policy, practice and services to enhance education and achieve inclusion in Wales. Read and respond from your own home or attend a group for discussion and participation in policy development.
Independent Parental and Pupil Support: Providing specific information, advice and support to children, young people and families.
Telephone Help line Operator: Offering a listening ear on our dedicated helpline giving information, signposting and referral.
School and Community Link Volunteers: Providing schools and communities with general information about SNAP Cymru and other services.
Business Support Volunteer: Help SNAP Cymru to build a better business by giving time to support PR, Marketing, Finance, Funding.
Become a National Executive Committee member. Help SNAP Cymru to manage the Charity as a volunteer Trustee.
SNAP Cymru will give you the opportunity to: Help reduce stress and anxieties within families, help children and young people in your community to reach their full potential. Become a valued member of a local team and make friends, access training and qualifications and learn new skills through work experience.

If you would like to apply to volunteer with SNAP Cymru, please download the document below and, when completed, send to Volunteering Unit, SNAP Cymru, 10 Coopers Yard, Curran Road, CARDIFF CF10 5NB. We will then pass your details to your local SNAP Cymru office and they will contact you to set up a meeting.
