What You Can Do

Education for All

Encouraging Partnership – since 1986 SNAP Cymru has worked with families and professionals in schools, education, health and social care to help ensure that children and young people’s needs are identified, assessed and provision made to help them reach their potential and be fully included.

Listening to Children – Staff and volunteers work with families and professionals, supporting children and young people to participate in planning and decision making which affects them, advocating where appropriate.

Giving Families a Voice - SNAP Cymru raise awareness of issues related to SEN, Disability, and other barriers to inclusion including: exclusion from school and education, disengagement from education, employment or training, poverty, deprivation, English or Welsh as a second language.

With offices all over Wales offering help and advice when you need it most, our local knowledge can help guide you through the differing implementations of the support and services offered by your local authority and by other charitable organisations. Check out our information pages or call us on our National Helpline Number 0845 120 3730.
