The Volunteering Experience

SNAP Cymru relies greatly on the generosity of individual Volunteers who help deliver and fund our services for children, young people and their families. This year with your help we have provided services for over 3000 families. Your ‘Gift of Time’ is measureable and valued by SNAP Cymru, the Welsh Government, Local Authorities, children, young people and families.

The vision of SNAP Cymru, is that every small community across Wales will have face to face access to a trained Volunteer who is knowledgeable about all aspects of additional learning needs, local provision and partnerships. Increasing participation and promoting partnership working will improve provision of services and equity of access.  Volunteering can help close the postcode lottery to multi agency service provision and improve the life chances of children and young people in Wales.
