Volunteer Story

I have been volunteering with SNAP Cymru for 7 years. I started volunteering because I have a learning disability, and I’m passionate about this sort of thing.

I work in the Cardiff office doing admin, answering the phone, making up packs, computer work, research, filing, and more.
I’ve been to lots of SNAP events, such as a volunteer event at the Lord Mayor’s mansion, and the Wmff! smart app launch in the Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay.

Working with SNAP Cymru has expanded my knowledge of the Additional Learning Needs process. I have gained a lot of knowledge from volunteering, which I can now give to others, which will help SNAP. My experience with SNAP Cymru has been very good.
